Hi everyone!

I’m Jan and I’m part of the Devrel team at Groq!

:globe_showing_americas:Something about you:

I’m now in a Devrel role, but my background is in User Experience design, and pushing the boundaries of human computer interfaces! That’s what got me really interested in AI in the first place, because I wanted to explore new interaction methods we can have with machines, thanks to AI and LLMs.

:artist:Something you’re doing / building:

Forums, communities, and kick-ass prototypes powered by Groq! One thing I’m excited for is all the customizability that Discourse gives us. I’m keen to turn this forum into a huge repository of both AI templates and examples, both built by the Groq staff and by the community!

:grinning_cat_with_smiling_eyes: — One thing about you that’s non-AI:

My name is Swedish, and everyone has had such a hard time pronouncing my name… so I gave myself “yawn” as a twitter handle and it kind of stuck! Americans still mis-pronounce my name though :woman_shrugging:

Hey everyone, I’m Ella and I’m on the Devrel team here at Groq!! :waving_hand: I’ll be around a lot and I’m super excited to chat with you all and see what you’re building.

:globe_showing_americas:Something about me:

I’m part of Devrel at Groq, where I get to help manage this community and work on creating fun ways for developers to connect, learn, and share ideas. I studied cognitive science, which got me interested in the overlap between how people think and make decisions and how AI systems interpret and apply info. The mix of people and AI is what makes me excited about this space: finding ways to make it both technically useful and meaningfully collaborative for developers.

:artist:Something I’m doing / building:

Right now I’m helping with the transition of our developer community over to Discourse. I’m focused on making it into a space that grows with what developers actually need by using feedback and metrics to guide how we shape it going forward.

:grinning_cat_with_smiling_eyes:Non-AI thing about me:

Outside of AI, I love watching documentaries and reading non-fiction. I’m a really curious person and love learning about anything and everything. I’m also into photography and just got a Super 8 camera that I’m excited to play around with!

Hi everyone, I’m Ben and I’m also part of the Devrel team at Groq!

:globe_showing_americas:Something about you:

I’m part of Developer Relations, which means that my job is to help YOU build with Groq! There are so many amazing things that are possible with Groq using our incredible speed. I love building apps with AI in my free time. If you have questions about our documentation or how to do something with Groq, please reach out!

I’m working on a personal “cursor for writing” using Obsidian plugins. I’ve been doing more writing lately and it’s great to already have an editor where you can easily integrate Groq into it to add whatever features you like. The most recent thing I added was a CMD + K feature to rewrite certain lines.

:grinning_cat_with_smiling_eyes:One thing about you that’s non-AI:

Tough question…3D printing isn’t AI, is it? I’ve been playing around with my 3D printer this year and it’s really fun to take things from a screen and make them real. I also enjoy long walks on the beach, and I sometimes bring my drone, too!

Hi everyone! :waving_hand: I’m Mshari, part of the DevRel team at Groq, and I’m really excited about this new forum where we can connect and help each other build faster with Groq!

:globe_showing_americas:Something about you:

I come from a software engineering background, but since joining Groq I’ve had the chance to dive into so many different areas, both technical and business. It’s been an amazing journey, and I’d love to share some of those experiences with you along the way

:artist:Something you’re doing / building:

Lately, I’ve been working on several Groq-powered projects, both for clients and in our Build-With-Groq GitHub org. What I love most is how Groq doesn’t just make things faster, it actually unlocks new possibilities that can make the user experience so much richer and smoother

:grinning_cat_with_smiling_eyes:One thing about you that’s non-AI:

Hmm, I’m really into physics and astronomy. I enjoy exploring theories and phenomena that expand my thinking and always leave me with even more curiosity. I love reading about new discoveries, watching documentaries, and sometimes just stargazing, it always reminds me how much there is still to learn and explore
